17. 11. 2017.

The International Fair of Agricultural Machinery – Agritechnica is held in Hannover, Germany from 12th to 18th November 2017.
AGRITECHNICA is a biennial European fair of agricultural mechanization. This year the Agritechnica Fair brought together 2900 exhibitors from 52 countries in 23 halls and 394,000 m2. Compared to statistics from the previous Agritechnica Fair held in 2015, the number of exhibitors has increased as well as the number of countries from which exhibitors have come. Organizers have expected an increase in visitors this year and estimated that the fair would be visited by more than 452,000 visitors from 115 countries.
Despite of being the largest European agricultural machinery fair, where producers and visitors from all continents are present, the Fair is also fallowed by a whole series of business events.
The first two days of the Fair are intended for wholesalers and media, while the other days are intended for the general public.
This is the fourth time the Agricultural Equipment Cluster is present on Agritechnica in organization of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce.
On the 70 m2 joint exhibition area in the hall 13 at booth A57, the products of Agricultural Equipment Cluster members were presented. The members were: HITTNER Ltd., Bjelovar, producer of agricultural and forestry tractors; HIDRAULIKA KUTINA Plc., Kutina, manufacturer of hydraulic equipment for agricultural machinery, MEGAMETAL Ltd. Nedelisce, agricultural machinery manufacturer; POD Ltd., Dezanovec, spring manufacturer and the key company Agricultural Equipment Cluster from Osijek.
Another Cluster member the company Labinprogres – TPS exhibited independantly at Hall 21, booth G 31, where smaller tractors and motocultivators were located.
The company POD from Dezanovac also had its own exhibition area where components and spare parts were located in the hall 18, booth C 18.
This was the fourth joint appearance at the Agritechnica Fair and in total the eleventh joint performance of Agricultural Equipment Cluster members at international fairs.
The Agricultural Equipment Cluster has had an excellent long-term cooperation with the Croatian Chamber of Commerce in internationalization projects like this one. The fairs are an indispensable channel for the sale of agricultural mechanization as agricultural equipment is very difficult to sell by other distribution means, mainly web sales or catalog sales. Thanks to their continuous performance at fairs the member companies export over 70% of their products.
The Agritechnica Fair provided the opportunity to present a part of the Croatian economy to the German market and to the wider European region. The fair also introduced the opportunity to renew previous business contacts and to open new contacts between companies.
